Wayanad - Places To See

Kuruvadweep
These are three picturesque, riverine uninhabited islands on the Kabini River that lie 17km east of Mananthavadi and 45km northwest of Sulthan Bathery. Two tributaries of the Kabini river – Panamaram, originating from Lakkidi and Mananthavady, originating from the Thondaramudi Peak – flow around the islands.

This 950-acre island section has lots of medicinal plants, trees, butterflies and birds. It is a haven for migratory birds, too. From Pulpally, you can go for boating and bamboo raft rides organized by the DTPC Wayanad.
