Pookot Lake
This freshwater lake is known for its natural springs, which never let the lake turn dry. There is a boat club here, and boating facilities on the lake are available.
There is a handicraft shop near the boat club. You can buy bamboo products, coffee, honey, spices and curios here. Also visit the children’s park and the freshwater aquarium here. It is 15km from Kalpetta and 3km from Vythiri.
