Sentinel Rock Waterfalls
It is 22km south of Kalpetta, in Vellarimala near Chooralmala. Locally known as Soochippara Waterfalls, it is a very popular leisure destination. ‘Soochi’ is needle in Malayalam, and the waterfall is so called because of its needle-like sprays of water. This three-step waterfall falls from a height of more than 20m.
This region is ideal for rock climbing and trekking. Sometimes, you can spot and deer and other animals near the pools of water. It is 43km from Sultan Bathery.
